In the human frame
This is a visual project inspired by You Want It Darker a song by Leonard Cohen, exploring themes of mortality, spirituality, isolation, and the human relationship to faith and suffering. Through the construction of detailed miniature environments, the project translates the emotional atmosphere of the song into physical spaces suspended between reality and symbolism. The miniature scale creates a sense of distance and observation, allowing intimate psychological and existential themes to be viewed almost like fragments of memory or ritual. Combining monochromatic aesthetics, textured materials, and cinematic composition, the work examines the tension between the physical body and the unseen emotional or spiritual states that exist within the human experience.
